Relations between Georgia and the State of Israel
Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the State of Israel were established on June 1, 1992.
Fields of Cooperation
In the recent period bilateral cooperation is actively developing with all major destinations between Israel and Georgia, especially in economy, agriculture, culture, education and interpersonal relation fields. Further development of cooperation is very important for Georgia. This is especially significant in the context of the centuries-old friendship of Georgian and Jewish people. Development of cooperation between the relevant Ministries of Georgia and Israel shall be mentioned. Numerous high-level visits were held and various formats of cooperation were formed. Many international treaties are signed between Georgia and Israel that establishes the basis for the further development of cooperation in the various fields.
